Ok…So you are probably visiting Mykonos in a few months or weeks or days and you are lost not knowing where to stay or what to do and see?

I have visited Mykonos hundreds of times and I keep on visiting it every year.

I would be happy to help you out!

Drop me any question you may have and I’ll do my best to reply asap and help you make the best of your visit to this paradise-on-earth!

I am Greek (as you may have noticed…) and I definitely know what the locals do, eat and experience.

After visiting the island since I was 6 yo, I do know the must see’s and do’s , so…drop me a line and I’d be happy to respond !

HI, I am wondering what the best way to get from Mykonos to Athens is. I think I would prefer to see the water going back over since I have three days in Athens alone. In Mykonos I have 11 days and would love to know some places to get artisan things and of course nice walking places to explore.

Hope it’s not too late… 🙂 The best way is definitely through the ferry as it is only 3 hrs and you get to see lot’s of sea water and the harbours of a few more islands to the way back! You can read all the details in our post here: https://mykonos-secrets.com/start/athens-mykonos/

Hi Pavlos, thank you !! I did decide to go the ferry route! I am taking a n early morning one so not only do I get to see the sun rise, I get to get in early to Athens so have a half day there more then if I took a dif way out! I have 10 days in Mykonos – have 2 little ones to play with and then in Athens on my own for a couple of days. I am so excited to just explore and get a sense of the culture and enjoy the land. Any tips, I am happy to recieve! I am a very novice traveller and want to get the most out of the experience! So, as I said, artisan or local things appeal to me the most! Not much a a sunbather, but I do like to explore and enjoy the people and the land. Thank you for your input ahead of time! I do have a place to stay taken care of on both ends – so entertainment and exploring are on my list! More perhaps the exploring is my interest!

Hey guys, I’ll be visiting greece for my honeymoon in 2018 and wanted to know your thoughts on the following itinerary.

Flying from Naples, below is not necessarily in that order:
        4 nights Santorini
        3 nights folegandros
        2 nights ios
        2 nights athens

What would be best combo to maximize time enjoying and less time traveling, should I add a day to ios, eliminate it? Other thoughts?.
